"The Cars are the Stars" - Welcome to The "New" Racing Historian! The Racing Historian is a site focused predominantly on serving as an online photographic history of American Sports Car Racing. However, you may also find material and images from other racing genre and perhaps even non-racing subjects as well.

Most photos and images are available for commercial use. Please contact me directly for further information. I also make my images available for other uses pending the purpose and rights requirements and may accommodate free usage under limited circumstances.

If you see an image you like, but are looking for something a little different such as B&W version, or another type of digital manipulation, please feel free to drop me a line as I'm always willing to work on producing images that meet your needs. If you are a driver, owner, or otherwise associated with someone or something at an event I shoot at and are looking for an image of a particular subject and/or content that you can't find on the site, please let me know as I have a growing library of images. I'd be happy to search for what you are looking for and see if I can find a match.
